On 8/27 and 8/28, we will be hosting on the private server Epsilon. The server is an all-GM, roleplay-focused, paywall-free alternative to retail servers. We've spent years creating the perfect summer getaway for you and your characters, so don't be shy! To be safely prepared, set up your client at least a week before the event.

On 8/29 and 8/30, we're returning to our roots with a retail homecoming. Join us for classic games with rare and lucrative prizes. The celebration will be split between the new player housing frontier and our old stomping grounds of Stranglethorn Vale.

The party
Long ago in the distant summer of 2016, the Stranglethorn Vale Bonfire Bash (STVBB) was born of a simple desire: what if we gave our characters — the heroes of Warcraft — a beach filler episode?What came to pass were nine years of overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the roleplay community (and beyond) — each celebration bigger than the last! From sunrise to sundown, the Bash has become a much-loved tradition. We're so lucky to be returning for our 10th and final year, and hope you enjoy what we have in store!
The art
The Bash is run by creatives for creatives. Every year gives us the pleasure to see more designs, more writing, more illustrations, more music, more recipes, and more collaborations! Our attendees humble us with their excitement and ever-expanding skill.For five years we've hosted the STVBB Art Bash. This is a team-based competition for our community inspired by our progenitor, artfight.net. Hundreds of artists have made this a more successful endeavor than we would have ever imagined.

"New" theme - Classic
We're keeping things simple this year with an optional theme. Whether this is your first or tenth Bash, reflect on what's classic to you at the beach (or for your character). Revive an old look or an old toon and join us in celebrating a decade of memories!
On Epsilon, Obasi has created the Swimsuit Mall in phase 10439 for you to try on looks from our custom, player-made swimwear patches.
Art Bash Returns!
For our final Bash, we're chilling out with a more personal approach to improvement and enjoyment in art. There will be no teams, but plenty of opportunities to showcase your work and share with fellow creatives. Our Discord will re-open a month before the party.
New Looks - Custom Patch Update
Obasi is updating the Summerwear patch collection with new looks! This patch will give you limitless new outfit combinations. Instructions for installation will be included in the files on release. These patches are optional and will not affect your gameplay on the island. Without them, however, your screenshots with other people may look very strange! It will also affect some of our prizes.
The Swimsuit Mall in phase 10439 hosts the patch content. You can also preview everything on our Google spreadsheet.

Become king of the castle in our team-based watergun battle! Players will explore the sand-tastical "Neptulon's Crown" arena while jumping, balancing, and dousing down the competition!

Island Exploration
Attractions all across the island will be open to explore, including our old jumping course and brand-new structures. Lounge on the beach, hunt new secrets, or sample the different menus of our island eateries!
Sandcastle Building
Want to familiarize yourself with Epsilon's building and blueprint features? Craft a sandcastle of your very own under the guidance of Obasi and have it displayed on the island for all to see! Our judging will be open to the public for 24 hours.

Show off your summer style in this year's transmog competition! The possibilities are endless with Epsilon's unique Mogit modules and our new custom swimsuits. The Summerwear patches are required to participate in our contest.

Epsilon FAQ
Can I get banned on retail for using a private server?
The plain answer is no. There are no recorded instances of players' retail accounts being banned because of using a private server. The only users facing consequences (like a C&D) are the server owners. Do not mention it by name while on retail, to prevent undue attention for the server itself.
How do I get started?
Follow the guide we've put together. Epsilon also recently implemented a "starting zone" for new accounts!
Can I play as any race?
Yes, you can — with some limits!
Using the “.lookup displayid creature $name” command, you can search and morph into the model of any in-game creature or normally-unplayable race. While at our party, we ask that you contain your character to the universe of Warcraft.
